What we do

We make learning music accessible, inspiring, and practical — for everyone.

As musicians ourselves, we built ArtMaster to share what we know and love. Our platform offers high-quality video courses taught by real artists, supported by practical tools, down-to-earth learning guides and our Ai piano teacher Artie.

Why we do it

At ArtMaster, we believe talent doesn’t care where you’re born — and access to music education shouldn’t either.

That’s why we work long-term with children in care, offering full access to our music courses completely free. We mentor, teach, and provide instruments to kids who deserve the same chance to play, grow, and express themselves through music.

Who we are

Founders:

Radim Vysoky and Michal "Majklac" Novak, two die-hard guitarists, music fanatics and founders of ArtMaster have been wielding their axes since they were kids, adding more and more instruments to their arsenal.

Our Journey:

  • Beginnings: After founding a music school in 2018 focused on teaching in an exciting, modern, and accessible way, they immediately began recruiting an all-star line-up of tutors for individual courses.

  • Pivoting Online: Our true passion has always been to make music accessible to as many people as possible. When COVID hit in 2020, we pivoted our efforts towards online instructional videos, exploring new horizons in digital music education. Since then, we've made our way into the homes and hearts of thousands of new students, and we’re just getting started!

Senior Machine Learning Engineer

We are looking for someone who has:

  • 4 or more years of experience in developing models in TensorFlow (Keras) or PyTorch

  • Proficiency with ML libraries such as ONNX, Scikit-learn, Pandas, and NumPy

  • Strong Python skills and familiarity with software development best practices (design patterns, PEP standards, Git flow, etc.)

  • Experience in leading and tracking ML experiments, including the use of tools like TensorBoard, W&B, etc.

  • A willingness to experiment with different model architectures, find better alternatives on Hugging Face/Papers With Code, etc.

  • The ability to write maintainable and well-readable code and create reproducible experiments in Jupyter notebooks

  • Strong data processing skills, including analysis, cleaning, and feature engineering

  • Experience with model architecture adjustments, fine-tuning, quantization, and both edge and cloud deployment

  • Regularly works with Git, Linux, and Docker

  • Proficiency in working with both relational and NoSQL databases

We are looking for someone who has:

  • 5 or more years of experience in developing iOS applications

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle technological challenges at all stages of development

  • Very good knowledge of Swift/Objective-C

  • Understanding of fundamental algorithms and design patterns

  • Experience with agile methodologies

  • Good knowledge of working with REST APIs and network communication in general

  • The ability to independently create mobile applications based on given specifications and UI design resources, as well as the ability to identify input shortcomings and propose better solutions
